Canadian Robotic Prostatectomy Patient Donated $1M for da Vinci Maintenance

Charles Tremblay was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in 2012 at age 56. He and his wife Dorothy strongly believed that da Vinci robotic surgery has saved Charles from prostate cancer. The couple has done adequate research on robotic surgery and has decided that it is indeed the best treatment option for him, according to an online article. Mr. and Mrs. Tremblay has donated $1M dollars to a local hospital that performs da Vinci robotic prostatectomy for men who suffered prostate cancer.

However, the article failed to indicate that not all men are suitable to undergo da Vinci robotic prostatectomy.
